Grooming Policies
We hope you do understand that we always have the pet's safety and comfort in mind.
- If you are more than 15 minutes late for your appointment, your appointment may be cancelled.
- We will not re-accept clients who 'NO-SHOW' more
than once. If another appointment is scheduled, Pre-Payment for
services is required.
-
Severely Matted/Knotty pets: If your pet is extremely matted
and the coat neglected, we may suggest taking all the coat off or have
you take your pet to your vet for treatment. This is because it is unfair and cruel to force your pet to go through the stress involved to
demat the coat. Although we do our best to save what coat we can,
in extreme cases where this is not possible the coat must be taken off. We abide by the Animal Welfare
Act and will NOT, under any circumstances, subject a pet to poor
treatment to demat a severly knotted coat. *Please note: Matted pets are charged additional fees
at an hourly rate because of the time it takes to groom them.
-
If your pet has fleas, we will be giving a flea bath. NO EXCEPTIONS (additional charges apply)
-
Please make sure your dog has emptied (toileted) before entering the salon.
-
We lack the space to keep your pet more than the alloted time to
groom him/her. Our salon works on a 'one pet in, one pet out' rotation.
If you are more than an hour late without notification in collecting
your pet, you may be charged a holding fee of £5 for each hour after your collection time.
- We do not sedate pets, nor will we groom a pet that has been
sedated. If your pet has behaviour problems regarding grooming, please
contact us to discuss our rehabilitation programme.
- For the safety of your pet and staff, we have the right to refuse any animal that poses a risk of injury to itself or others. In some cases, this may mean your pet being sent home and then returning on another day to complete the groom. We would rather have your pet enjoy his/her grooming experience than be subjected to unfair risk or stress by continuing the groom.
